AI is moving fast — and Ryght AI is making sure it moves in the right direction.
Founded by Simon Arkell, a serial entrepreneur with deep roots in healthcare and data science, Ryght was built to make generative AI useful for enterprises — not just experimental. The company focuses on the industries where trust, transparency, and compliance aren’t optional: biopharma, life sciences, and regulated research.
Their goal? To help organizations use AI to speed up clinical trials, streamline research, and bring new therapies to market faster — all without ever compromising data integrity or patient safety.
Ryght’s platform gives enterprises a secure, private AI environment that works seamlessly with their existing Microsoft stack. That means teams can build copilots, automate documentation, and analyze complex data sets safely — with all the compliance guardrails in place.
When Simon launched Ryght three years ago, he saw a clear gap: “Everyone was talking about AI, but few were thinking about how to adopt it responsibly at scale.” The answer, he realized, wasn’t just better models — it was better infrastructure. That’s why Ryght built its entire platform on Microsoft Azure.
Ryght runs its full AI stack on Azure — leveraging confidential computing, Azure OpenAI Service, and Microsoft’s enterprise security frameworks to power next-gen research collaboration between sponsors and clinical sites around the world.
“We wanted a platform that could handle complex workloads while meeting enterprise-grade security and compliance,” Simon explains. “Azure gave us that foundation — the scalability, the governance controls, and the global reach.”
With support from the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, Ryght gained the cloud credits, architectural guidance, and visibility needed to scale fast and reach enterprise partners globally.
And it worked. Ryght is now helping top biopharma clients accelerate clinical trials using AI — safely, transparently, and within the Microsoft ecosystem.
For companies like Ryght, building the tech is only half the battle. Getting it into the hands of global customers takes another kind of partner.
Enter WeTransact — helping Ryght launch, manage, and sell on the Azure Marketplace.
“In my previous company, we didn’t have a WeTransact — and it was a full-time job just figuring out the Microsoft systems and processes,” Simon recalls. “This time, we got the top-tier offering. Being up on the Marketplace so fast, with expert guidance and introductions into the Microsoft ecosystem, has been a game-changer.”
WeTransact made the listing process smooth — and more importantly, unlocked co-sell motions with Microsoft’s global sales teams. Now, Microsoft account executives can introduce Ryght directly to enterprise customers and even get credit toward their own Azure consumption goals when Ryght closes deals.
Ryght’s collaboration with Microsoft and WeTransact is already paying off. The company has built a robust sales pipeline, with several seven-figure deals in progress — all accelerated by co-selling through Microsoft’s ecosystem.
“It’s a win-win-win,” Simon says. “Customers can buy us directly through the Marketplace, skip lengthy procurement cycles, and use their Azure commitment — while we scale faster and Microsoft meets its targets.”
For enterprises, that means faster adoption of responsible AI. For Microsoft, it means another trusted partner helping drive the AI revolution safely. And for Ryght, it’s validation that doing AI the right way pays off.
Ryght is just getting started. With Azure as its foundation and WeTransact powering its Marketplace motion, the company is proving that responsible AI can scale — without the chaos, the risk, or the complexity.
Their vision is simple: to bring safe, compliant, and high-performing AI to every enterprise that needs it — faster.
