Auto-Activation for new orders coming to your listing 🆕
Start billing the moment a customer buys, no manual verification needed.
Microsoft just rolled out auto-activation for subscriptions on Marketplace, and WeTransact supports it from day one.
Turn it on, and your customer's subscription activates the instant the purchase completes. Billing starts immediately, no manual confirmation needed.
What's now possible:
- Faster time-to-revenue : billing starts the day of purchase from your customer instead of waiting on your activation.
- Cleaner customer experience : buyers access your product right after checkout, no waiting in limbo.
Heads up: Not every product fits auto-activation. If you need validation steps, coordinated provisioning, or a defined go-live moment before billing starts, keep it OFF and manage activation manually. Talk to your CSM to understand what is the best option for you.
Where to find it in WeTransact
When you create a new Listing, you'll now see an auto-activation toggle in the setup flow in the Order Approval tab. Switch it on or off depending on how you want billing to start for new orders coming to your listing.
